About Us

Welcome to FoodieMemphis! This website is run by me, Christopher, a single dad who uses this store as a creative outlet. What started as a passion project has grown into something of which, I'm truly proud.

Foodiememphis is a collection of food lovers...not foodies per say, as that implies a certain knowledge of food. We just love to eat, drink, and be merry! If it pertains to food, we say "GO ON! I'm listening!"  It started as a dinner group in...you guessed it...Memphis, TN, promoting locally owned restaurants. During the pandemic, it unfortunately was forced to morph into something else...a website selling fun, food related items,  because, why not?!?

As I was not able to research the best mom and pop restaurants in Memphis, I instead focused my attention on designing fun, foodie t-shirts. Some say my sense of humor is weird...I say "I like weird, weird people are more fun!" Check out my huge selection of "weird" foodie t-shirts that are ready to ship to you.

Foodiememphis’ Mission

The original dinner group was built on my grandmother's saying that "there are no strangers around a dinner table." Unfortunately, Memphis has a history of separation. Foodiememphis was an attempt to bring all kinds of people together, no matter their background, around the dinner table. We are about trying to finding common ground in food. If we can't do that around an actual dinner table, we can still find common ground in a "This Kale Tastes Like I'd Rather Be Fat!" t-shirt. We may not all agree on politics, but can't we all agree that kale tastes like yard clippings?

Why Choose Foodiememphis?

  • I provide free shipping for all products! I want to make the buying process as easy and convenient as possible
  • I have unique products that are not available in brick-and-mortar stores.
  • I have customer centric support that is fast, friendly, and efficient.
  • And of course…I have shirts that will garner a smile from other fellow foodies who get the joke!

Running this store gives me a chance to connect with people, explore my entrepreneurial side, and build something meaningful. It's more than just a business—it's a way for me to express my creativity and share my hatred of kale with the world.

Thank you for supporting my small business. Every order means the world to me and I'm grateful to have you become a member of our gang of misfit toys. Let's proudly show the world how much we hate kale! Come go along with us!
